Adis Ababa -Ethiopia (Cabays Media) — President Barack Obama is making the first visit by a sitting American president to Ethiopia next month.

The White House says the late July stop is being added to a previously announced trip by Obama to Kenya to participate in a global entrepreneurship summit.

Obama will meet with leaders of Ethiopia’s government, but not clear if he will meet with the opposition leaders. He plans separate meetings with leaders of the African Union.

The trip to Kenya will also be Obama’s first there as president. His father was Kenyan, and Obama travelled there as a senator in 2006 before he ran for president.

A lot of Americans believe Obama was born in Kenya and has closed links with the Muslim faith.
